Le Val de la Bonne Vie means the valley of the good life. We chose that name after several brainstorm sessions. You can explain the name in many different ways. “The valley” is pretty obvious, but what does “the good life” mean to you? For us, it has multiple dimensions. It means having peace, space and time to do what really makes you happy. Being outside, in nature, not having too many obligations, reading an entire book, painting, gardening, having a good conversation, go biking or hiking. Camping, cooking on an open fire, chatting until dark. Maybe also just the possibility to do nothing at all for a while, or just be able to work undisturbed all day and in the evening sit down for a delicious meal. In addition to all this, to us “the good life” means being thankful for each day we receive from God’s hand to make something beautiful out of it. We are curious to hear your story.
We know all too well how the busyness of everyday life can sometimes cause you to lose sight of yourself a bit. With us, you can take time for whatever it is you need at your own pace. You can stay at the campsite, rent a room, but you can also come here to teach a course (or take part in one), or rent the entire guesthouse for a group stay. Sometimes we organize something ourselves, such as a theme weekend or a Christmas arrangement. You can find this in the calendar. For any kinds of questions or more information you can always contact us!
